Scope

  • Content object > Basic Properties > Duplication Master property

Purpose

If this object was created by duplicating another object that was itself created by duplicating yet another object, then this property contains the UID of the original source object.

For example, if you have Object A, and duplicate this to create object B, and then duplicate Object B to create Object C, the Duplication Master of C will be A (and its Duplication Source will be B).

This property is populated automatically, but (strangely) can be cleared or changed.
