Where to find it

Purpose

This option is used to select the way in which the lightbox (which will contain the target of the Link Tile) is displayed. There are four possible options, selectable (for some incomprehensible reason) via a slide control. These are:

  • Use Entire Screen: The lightbox will be displayed as large as possible, within the entire browser window.
  • Use Entire Screen Without Help Panel: The lightbox will be displayed as large as possible within the client (application) area of the screen (that is, excluding the Carousel, so that the Carousel remains visible). Note that if the object is larger than can fit within just the client area, it will extend over the Carousel anyway.
  • User-Defined Size: The lightbox will be displayed centered within the client (application) area of the screen - that is, excluding the Carousel, and at the size specified in the Lightbox Size fields (see below).
  • User-Defined Size Without Help Panel: The lightbox will be displayed centered on the entire browser window, and at the size specified in the Lightbox Size fields (see below).

If you selected a Lightbox Sizing of User-Defined Size or User-Defined Size Without Help Panel then use the Lightbox Size fields to specify the height and width of the lightbox, in pixels. If you are linking to a Book Page, then it would be sensible to specify the size of the Book Page, so that the full Book Page can be displayed within the lightbox area, without the need for scrollbars (but allow for the Book Reader Toolbar).

Note that if you are using the (new) 'floating Help Panel', the two ...Without Help Panel options will use the corresponding 'full' options instead (because there is no Carousel).

This option is only available if the Open in Lightbox option is selected.
