Scope

  • Content Object > Element > Width property

Purpose

The Width property defines the width (X-axis: from left to right) of the parent element (for example, a Book Page object or a Simulation macro's Control), in pixels.

If you add Padding to the element then bear in mind that this will reduce the size of the visible image so you should always manually increase the Width by the same value as the Padding (or the Padding Left and/or Padding Right properties, as appropriate) if you want to keep the image the same size.
