Purpose

This property contains context information used by SAP Companion for Desktop to determine if the parent content object should be proffered as applicable context for the user's currently-active application or screen.

  1. Select the parent content object in the Workarea
  2. Click on the Record button at the top of the Property Sheet and select Record Desktop Application Context from the drop-down menu.
  3. In the Select Window and Profile dialog box, select the application from which you want to capture the context (make sure you are on the correct screen withing this), make sure the correct Profile is selected, and then click Record.
