Scope

SAP Companion parameter, specified either in the URL or in the SAP Companion parameters in the linked application.

Purpose

If set to true, the editor is enabled for SAP Companion - users will see the Edit button at the bottom of the Help Stripe.

Usage

Specified as:

editor=[true|false]

You would not normally have this specified in the application parameters in a Production environment, as then the Edit button would be visible to all users. Instead, you would just instruct your Authors to enter it as a URL parameter (where it becomes help-editor=true) when they need to edit the help for a page.

Also, just because the Edit button is visible this does not mean that any user can click on it to enter Edit Mode - they would still need to have an Author role assigned to them in the SAP Enable Now Workarea.
