Scope

SAP Companion parameter, specified either in the URL or in the SAP Companion parameters in the linked application.

Purpose

This parameter is used to specify the mode in which simulation projects launched from the (SAP Companion) Learning page or Learning Center will be launched.

This parameter was introduced in SAP Companion version 2.4.14. In previous versions, Practice mode was always used.

Usage

Specified as:

learningAppProjectMode=[demo|uebung|praxis|test|guided|pres]

where:

  • demo = Demo mode
  • uebung = Practice mode
  • praxis = Concurrent mode
  • test = Test mode
  • guided = Guided Presentation mode
  • pres = Free Presentation mode

Concurrent mode is a good one to use with SAP Companion as the user will be in the application anyway, so showing the steps in a separate window they can follow along with would be helpful.
