Where to find it

  • Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > User Management > Automatic Microsoft Excel Import category > File Path for Automatic Microsoft Excel Import setting

Purpose

If Enable Automatic Microsoft Excel Import is selected, then users can be created automatically via upload from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. In this scenario, the location of the Excel spreadsheet is specified in the File Path for Automatic Microsoft Excel Import field. Typically, the list of users is extracted from an existing user database (such as an HR system or an IAS provider) and saved to this same location.

The frequency with which this location should be checked for a file is specified via the Scheduler button in the same settings category.

Note that the file can contain all users every time - SAP Enable Now will update the details of any user for whom a Userid already exists in SAP Enable Now.
