- Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > General page > Caches and Timeouts category > Timeout of Recovery Email
Purpose
If a user forgets their password, they can request (via the form on the login page) a recovery/reset link. This setting specifies for how long (in minutes) the 'password recovery' link should be valid after it has been sent to the user. If the user has not clicked on the link within the period specified, the link will no longer work, and they will need to request a new link. This is a security measure.
