Scope

Purpose

This property specifies the number of times the screen element should be clicked on, during re-recording. This is not referring to a 'double-click' (or 'triple-click' for applications that support this), but a number of single-click actions. During initial recording for a scrolling area object, it may be necessary to click on the scrollbar multiple times to reach the required entry (or section of the object). If the Tools > Settings > Authoring Settings > Recording - General > Recording of Controls > Merge Multiple Clicks on the Same Scroll Button setting is selected, then all consecutive clicks on the same scrollbar will be captured as a single macro. The Number of Clicks property records the number of clicks that were performed.
