This defaults to '''1''' for all question types, but you can increase it to provide a 'weighting' for more complex questions. Scope

  • Book Page content object > Question Type > Points property

Purpose

This property is used to specify the number of points that should be awarded to a user for a correct answer to the question. This defaults to 1 for all question types, but you can increase it to provide a 'weighting' for more complex questions. For example, you could choose to award one point per 'connection' made in a Connection type question - although the user would still need to get every connection correct to get the points, and will get zero if any of the connections are incorrect.

If you use a Quiz section, the points specified in the Quiz Start object will override any points specified at the individual question level.
