Scope
- Simulation content object > action macro > Documentation > Expected Result property
Purpose
This property can be used to (manually) specify the expected outcome of performing the action associated with the parent macro. This is then displayed in some generated output types (such as the Test Sheet), typically along with columns for indicating whether the action did indeed produce this expected result or not (that is, indicating the success or failure of the action - and therefore the test).
This property is purely informational. There is no validation performed against it or using it, and it plays no part whatsoever in simulation playback in any mode (including Test mode).
