Scope

SAP Companion parameter, specified either in the URL or in the SAP Companion parameters in the linked application.

Purpose

This parameter allows users (of the application) to (machine-)translate the help content on-the-fly, directly from the Carousel in the application.

If this parameter is set to true then an additional button is available on the Help Stripe during editing of Help Topics or a Guided Tour which, when clicked, will cause the current help project contents to be translated into the current language of the user interface. This translation is performed via SAP Translation Hub, so a subscription to this must exist and be authorized in SAP Enable Now.

This translation is temporary, and just for the user's display. It does not translate the source material and store this translation. It would be more efficient and cost-effective to translate the source content once, but then you have two versions to maintain - the original and the translated version.

Usage

Specified as:

allowMLTranslations=[true|false]
