Scope

SAP Companion parameter, specified either in the URL or in the SAP Companion parameters in the linked application.

Release

This feature was introduced in SAP Companion 4.0.2.

Purpose

According to the release notes:

SAP Companion now introduces the new parameter useURHotspots. Previously both the backend help and creation of new content in Fiori WDA [Web Dynpro ABAP] and HTMLGUI apps were enabled with useABAPHelpTexts parameter.

The new useURHotspots parameter provides greater flexibility for customers who only want to create new help or guided tours without displaying the existing backend help texts.
