Scope
- Simulation content object > Mouse Action macro > Tooltip property
Purpose
The Tooltip property can be used to specify a short text that is displayed above the screen element (Control) when the user hovers the cursor over the element, in Practice mode and Test mode. This can be useful for adding a level of 'realism' to a Simulation by making it act more like the actual application, but it can also provide too much of a 'hint' in Test mode, as only the correct control will have a Tooltip displayed, making it fairly obvious where the user needs to click.
