Scope
- Simulation content object > Text-To-Speech Options macro > Silence property
- Book Page content object > Page Sound property > Edit text to Speech Text button > Edit Text to Speech dialog box > Silence property
Purpose
This property specifies the number of milliseconds after the Simulation Page or Book Page is displayed that the audio should start playing. This set to 200 by default. You would not normally want less than this (for example, 0) as you should allow users' eyes to settle on the page before adding auditory stimuli.
