Where to find it

  • Tools > Localization > Export Translation File menu option > Export Translation File dialog box > Include Control Names setting

Purpose

If this setting is selected then the generated translation file (XLIFF or Word) will also include the following (in addition to the project Bubble Texts) for the selected simulation projects:

Use

You would typically only include this if the screens will be localized as well (and even then you would likely want to provide the translator with the correct object names in the target languages).

If the Only Object Properties setting is selected, the Include Control Names setting is ignored.
