Where to find it

  • Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > GUI category > Application Name setting

Purpose

The name entered here is used in some of the automatic notification emails that are sent out (such as the Automatic User Deactivation email).

Use

You can normally just set this to "SAP Enable Now" so it is clear where the emails are coming from, but you could enter your company / client name if necessary. It is a global (implementation-wide) setting, so if you have multiple SAP Enable Now instances, it would be sensible to use this setting to differentiate between them, so you know which implementation the email is coming from.
