Where to find it
- Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > Miscellaneous category > Cache Lifetime (s) for Static Resources
Purpose
Objects displayed in the browser will be cached, and if a user displays the same object within the number of seconds specified in the Caching time range setting, the cached version will be (re)displayed. If more than this number of seconds has elapsed, a new version will be retrieved from SAP Enable Now.
The Cache Lifetime (s) for Static Resources can be used to specify a different caching time for resources. Typically, resources are less 'volatile' and so you can have a longer caching period for them.
Use
Setting Cache Lifetime (s) for Static Resources to -1 will prevent the content from being cached at all, and a new copy will be retrieved every time the user displays it.
