Scope

SAP Companion parameter, specified either in the URL or in the SAP Companion parameters in the linked application.

Purpose

Normally, when identifying a screen element for hotspot assignment, it is possible to select a text element (usually as a last resort, if all other recognition options are not possible). This can present problems where the text could change (for example, for other languages). If this parameter is set to false, text-based recognition will no longer be possible. This can be helpful for 'forcing' help Authors to select more suitable screen elements for hotspot assignment.

Usage

Specified as:

enableTextBasedRecognition=[true|false]
