Scope

  • SAP Companion > Context Help project > Tile macro > Appearance tab > Show Instantly property

Purpose

This property is available for Context Help tiles that have a Highlight property of Rectangle, Underline, or Icon (but not Circle). If selected, it causes the Highlight to be displayed immediately the user accesses the application screen (to which the Help Topic applies) - even if Web Assistant is not open (or has not been opened yet).

Use

This property is useful for forcing the display of a Help Topic (by way of its Highlight) that you want to make sure the user sees - even if they do not think to use - or even know about - Web Assistant. Consider using this for the Web Assistant Help button itself on the first screen the user sees (such as shell-Home in S/4).

If the parameter readCatalogue is set to false then this property is ignored. This is because readCatalogue suppresses calls to the content server until the user clicks on the Help button, so Web Assistant cannot retrieve help any sooner.
