Start Automatically

Scope

• Book Page content object > Audio object > Start Automatically property
• Book Page content object > Flash Animation object > Start Automatically property
• Book Page content object > Video object > Start Automatically property

Purpose

If this property checkbox is selected then the sound in the associated audio file (for the parent Media Object Book Page object) will start playing as soon as the page is loaded.

For Audio objects this is useful for triggering background music, but narrative audio is better provided via the Page Sound property on the Page object itself.
