Scope

  • Book Page content object > Shape > New Window Properties > Location bar property
  • Simulation content object > Shape > New Window Properties > Location bar property

Purpose

If the parent object's Open in New Window property is specified then the target of the associated link will be opened in a new browser window (or tab, depending upon the browser's functionality and settings). By default, this will not include the browser 'location bar' - the bar that contains the address field (into which you can enter a URL) and Forward and Back buttons. Selecting the Location bar property checkbox will override this default and include the location bar in the new window.
