Quiz Timeout

Scope

• Quiz > Question > Feedback > Quiz Timeout property

Purpose

This property specifies the text that should be displayed if the user fails to complete either the Quiz or the Question within the defined time limit.

Use

The text entered in this property is displayed via the Quiz Template's feedback_timeout or feedback_timeout_popup element. The Quiz time limit is specified in the Playback Settings > General > {Project Overrides >} Quiz > Time Limit for Complete Quiz (Seconds) setting, and the Question time limit is specified in the Question > Options > Time Limit (seconds) property.

This property field is edited via the standard Text Editor so you can use that editor's full functionality, including the ability to use character and paragraph styles, and insert tables, images, placeholders, and so on.
