Preferred Internet Browser

Where to find it

• Tools > Settings > Producer > General > Preferred Internet Browser setting

Purpose

This setting can be used to select the browser that will be used for playback of local content (for example, previews). This setting was introduced in the 20.05 release, prior to which Internet Explorer was always used for local playback. Now, the options are:

• System Default Browser: Use whichever browser is set as your system default browser
• Microsoft Internet Explorer: Self-explanatory. Overrides your system default if it is anything other than IE
