Every object in SAP Enable Now has a UID (Unique Identifier) that uniquely identifies it. The first portion of this (up to the underscore) identifies the type of object. This is followed by a number of hexadecimal characters (the exact number of characters depends upon the type of object).

The following object type identifiers are used:

  • BO_ - Book
  • CD_ - Text Unit
  • DA_ - Desktop Assistant
  • GR_ - Group (in the Workarea)
  • MAC_ - Macro
  • PR_ - Project (Simulation, Desktop Assistant content, Web Assistant content)
  • SL_ - Book Page
  • TS_ - Simulation Step
