Library Autostart

Scope

• Content object > Basic Properties > library Autostart property

Purpose

You can choose to have a Book Page (or other content object) displayed as the ‘index page’ for an object (in the rightmost pane of the Trainer) instead of the default display of Short Description, Description, and play mode buttons. This property specifies the Name of the ‘index’ object (if one is used). To assign the index object, click on the Edit Link button to the right of the property field, then navigate to and select the required content object.

If you set a library Autostart object for a Simulation, you will need to provide some other way (on this object) to launch the Simulation in the applicable modes, as the usual 'play mode' buttons will not be available.

Although you could choose a document to use as the index, this will likely be opened as soon as you click the object for this index in the hierarchical outline, instead of being displayed in the index page, so this should be avoided.
