Custom Location

Purpose

The Start Links category of properties provides links for launching the parent content object (or play mode - including generated document). There are two buttons to the right of each link - the first copies the link to the clipboard, and the second launches the object.

The Custom Location property can be used to generate a link to the parent content object on an externally-published site. This is only useful in an 'on-premise' implementation of SAP Enable Now, where the training content is published out to a 'local' server or other location (as opposed to users accessing content via the cloud in a cloud implementation). The URL is built automatically by using the Workarea > Start Links > Custom Prefix property and appending object-specific data to this.
