Scope

Purpose

The Top property defines the number of pixels in from the upper edge of the screen (for Simulations) or page (for Book Pages) at which the top edge of the parent element (for example, a Book Page object or a Simulation macro's Control) is located. This is specified as a number of pixels, starting at 1.

Note that the upper edge of an element may not necessarily be the upper edge of the visible part of the object - for example, for an image with a transparent background. Any Padding will also affect the location of the visible portion of the element relative to this property.
