Where to find it
- Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > Security category > Detailed Error Messages setting
Purpose
This setting checkbox is selected by default, which means that detailed error messages will be written to the Browser console log. This can provide useful information to hackers and other bad actors regarding your security mechanisms (for example, by indicating the security protocol(s) used. If this is a concern, you can deselect this option, and less-detailed messages will be given instead.
