Enable Connected Workarea Feature

Where to find it
- Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > Connected workarea category > Enable Connected Workarea Feature setting
Purpose
This setting allows you to connect a Workarea belonging to another SAP Enable Now instance to your instance. If this setting checkbox is selected, a Connect' button will be available on the upper-right of the Workareas / Tags screen. Clicking on this button displays the Connect to Workarea on Manager dialog box, in which you can specify the details of the Workarea to connect.
Use
This feature (of being able to connect to a Workarea in another instance) is typically used for one of the following scenarios:
- To connect to a 'standard' SAP-provided Workarea in order to provide your Authors and/or Learners with access to its content.
- To connect to your own Workarea if you have multiple, globally-distributed SAP Enable Now instances, for performance balancing.
