Scope
Purpose
The Page Sound 'property' on the Property Sheet is not really a property at all. Instead, this entry provides several buttons that can be used to influence the remaining properties in the Page Sound Information category (these properties cannot be edited directly).
The buttons that are available will depend upon whether any page sound (or Text to Speech text) exists for the Page, but can include (from left to right, in the image):
- Buttons always visible/available:
- Import Audio File: Load Page sound from a file (in your PC or in the Workarea).
- Record Audio: Record {age audio.
- Edit Text to Speech Text: Enter or change text to be used for Text-to-Speech audio. Updates the Text to Speech Text and Text to Speech Voice properties.
- Buttons only available if audio exists for the Page
- Edit Audio: Edit the actual audio in the Audio Editor.
- Change Audio Format: Change the format in which audio is edited and/or played back. Updates the Editing Format and Output Format properties.
- Delete Audio: Delete any Page audio (Media Object audio files are unaffected).
- Play Audio: Play back the current audio for the Page.
