Request Consent from Users

Where to find it
- Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > Data Protection category > Request Consent from Users setting
Purpose
If this setting is selected then all SAP Enable Now users (Authors and Learners) will be required to consent to the data privacy policy (which will be displayed on the screen) before they can access any content. If this setting is deactivated (deselected) then users will not see this statement and will not be required to accept it.
Note that disabling this setting will not affect the other data protection features that are enabled via the Enable Data Protection Feature setting.
Use
You should only turn off this setting if your users have already consented to a broader (possibly corporate-wide) data privacy statement that also covers the SAP Enable Now system.
