Roles (SAP Companion parameter)

Scope

SAP Companion parameter, specified either in the URL or in the SAP Companion parameters in the linked application.

Purpose

SAP Companion Context showing Content Roles

This parameter specifies the Content Roles (a.k.a. Business Roles), to control content display by role.

This functionality is currently not fully implemented. Business Roles were introduced into SAP Enable Now in the 2311 release, but as of that time, no application passes the Role to SAP Companion. You can specify this parameter in the URL for testing purposes, although SAP Companion doesn't seem to fully recognize it yet.
