Purpose
If users are defined to SAP Enable Now via automatic import from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, this checkbox determines whether roles specified in the import files should be added to any existing roles the user may have (selected) or should replace any existing role assignment (deselected) - assuming the user is already defined to SAP Enable Now.
Use
If you habitually create your users via automatic import (as is most commonly the case for 'full coverage' using SSO), and have SAP Enable Now roles assigned to users within the IAS from which the users are extracted, it makes sense to make sure this setting is not selected, so that changes (and specifically removal) of roles in the IAS are correctly reflected in SAP Enable Now.
