Purpose

With the exception of the Glossary Document Type, this property simply determines the icon that will be used for the object (both in the Workarea and in the Trainer) - the functionality is exactly the same regardless of the Document Type. The Document Type can be set manually, but is also set automatically during Business Process Model integration.

Text Units with a Document Type of Glossary are used to contain Glossary entries - the Text Unit Name is the Glossary Term, and the Text Unit Description is the Glossary Definition. The Group containing the Glossary Text Units can then be applied to Books, Book Pages and Simulations (typically by way of a higher-level containing Group) to turn instances of the Glossary Term into hotspots that display the Glossary Definition.
