Enable Single Sign-On

From SAP Enable Now Wiki

Where to find it

  • Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > Single Sign-On category > Enable Single Sign-On setting

Purpose

If this setting is selected (which it is, by default, in a Cloud environment) then users are automatically logged on to SAP Enable Now using their existing login credentials (typically, by virtue of being logged in to the corporate network) when they try to access it. Note that users still have a separate logon ID in SAP Enable Now, but their Userid is the same as their corporate-wide Userid (which could be their email address or some other unique ID defined in the corporate IAM (Identity Authentication Manager).
