Generate Inspection Pages

Where to find it

• Authoring Settings > Recording - General > Generate Inspection Pages setting

Purpose

If this setting is selected then during recording, SAP Enable Now will capture information about all elements on the screen (and not just the one(s) interacted with, and store this information in a separate file within the simulation Project. This can then (in theory) be used to perform additional object recognition for the screen within the Project Editor, and without having to access the application itself again.

Caution: Capturing this additional information can be very resource-intensive, increasing the time it takes to record a simulation (although playback will be unaffected).
