Scope

• Simulation content object > Icon Link macro > Link To property

Purpose

This property specifies the object or file that should be opened when the user clicks on the associated icon for the parent macro.

Use

When you first insert an Icon Link macro the icon includes a 'warning triangle' indicating that no target has been assigned to the macro. Click on the Edit Link (pencil) button to the right of the property field, to open the Link to dialog box from where you can navigate to an object within the Workarea, upload a file from your PC (Insert File option), or enter a URL to an external website (Free option).
