Notification at activation

Where to find it

• Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > Notification category > Notification at activation setting

Purpose

Used to determine if a notification email should be sent to Watchers of a content object when the object is restored from the server trash. Options are:

• never: A notification is never sent for this type of activity
• always: A notification is always sent
• User-defined: Whether or not a notification is sent depends on whether the person performing the action selects the Notify Watchers checkbox. (Note there doesn't actually seem to be a dialog box that provides this option when an object is restored, so I wouldn't rely on this setting.)
