Padding (for elements that can contain text)

Scope

  • Content Object > Element > Padding property
  • Content Object > Element > Padding Top property
  • Content Object > Element > Padding Bottom property
  • Content Object > Element > Padding Left property
  • Content Object > Element > Padding Right property

This page applies to all elements (in Simulations or Book Pages) that can hold text. This includes all of the built-in Shape elements, as these can all hold text, and Input Text Control elements, as these can also hold text.

Purpose

This property defines the amount of space (in pixels) that should be left between the inner boundary of the text field and the text that appears within it.
