Purpose
In theory, this setting specifies the background color to apply to 'pages' during playback, but within the context of a Simulation this does nothing as the screenshot takes up the full page area, and Book Pages have their own Page Color property.
Sometimes, if you're navigating through the steps very quickly, the 'page' may be displayed before the screenshot is fully rendered. Because of this, it is advisable to set the Page Color (Playback Settings setting) the same as the Background Color so there is no 'flash' of page color.
