Password expiration (time type)
From SAP Enable Now Wiki
Where to find it
- Manager > Administration > Server Settings menu > Security category > Password expiration (time type) setting
Purpose
If Single Sign-On is not used, users are required to change their login password a specific period after the password was last changed (or initially created). This setting specifies the period unit of measure (which can be day, week, month, or year), and the Password expiration (time unit) setting specifies the number of these units for this period. At the end of this period, the user will be prompted to change their password when they next log on (and they will not be able to log on until they have changed their password).
Users can also change their password at any time on the Settings > User Info screen in Manager.
