Pause
Scope
- Simulation content object > Simulation End macro > Pause property
Purpose
This property specifies the number of seconds for which the last screenshot (specified by the Page property of the Screen macro in the last Step) should continue to be displayed after the last macro in the Step has completed. For example, if you have an Explanation bubble on the screenshot that has a Display Duration of 5 seconds, and the Pause property is set to 10, then the bubble will be displayed for 5 seconds, then it will disappear, and the last screenshot will continue to be displayed on its own, for a further 10 seconds.
If there is no Screen macro in the last Step then the Trainer background is displayed with a small, white square in the middle of it (clearly this is not the anticipated approach).
If this property is inactive then there is no pause, and the simulation will end as soon as the last macro completes. If this property is activated it initially defaults to -1 (forever), which means that the user will need to manually close the playback window.
This property is independent of the End Page settings, which (if activated) will be shown after the Pause period.
