Record Bar Position

• Authoring Settings > Recording - General > Record Bar Position setting

Purpose

This setting determines whether the Recording Bar should be shown across the top of the screen, or minimized to the System Tray, when you start recording a simulation or Desktop Assistant project. The default is Top, but this can be set to Bottom (the bottom of the screen), or Minimized if adjusting the recorded application screen to accommodate this bar is preventing the full screen dimensions from being captured. If you set it to Minimized, make sure you let the authors know this (and tell them how to stop recording) as there will be no visual indication (same an icon in the system tray, which may not be immediately visible) that recording is even active.
