Recording Device

• Authoring Settings > Audio > Recording Device setting

Purpose

This setting defines which device should be used for capturing audio (whether this is captured at the time of recording, or during editing). The setting consists of a drop-down list that contains all of the identified microphones available on your machine. You can click on the Configure button on the far right of the field to open the Windows Sound dialog box, which allows you to activate and configure all audio devices on your machine.
