Scrolling Text

Scope

• Book Page content object > Text > Design > Scrolling Text property
• Book Page content object > Active Area > Design > Scrolling Text property

Purpose

If this property is selected for a Text or an Active Area then text within the object is not 'wrapped', and instead the entire contents of the Text property scrolls from right to left (on repeat). This is useful if the text needs to be displayed without word wrapping, but should only be used with objects that are wide enough to show a reasonable proportion of the text at a time.
