Size (Authoring Settings setting)

Purpose

This setting defines the default recording area and position for the Recording Wizard. The Author can change these at the time of recording.

Use

This setting consists of two input fields. The first of these is a drop-down list of common sizes (plus a few other standard options). The second field contains four comma-separated values that define (from left to right):

• Position of the leftmost edge of the recording area on the X axis.
• Position of the upper edge of the recording area on the Y axis. Note that this is usually 28 to allow space for the recording bar (which is 28px high).
• Width of the selection.
• Height of the selection.
