Text (Text-To-Speech macro property)

Scope

• Simulation content object > Text-To-Speech Override macro > Text property

Purpose

This property specifies the text that should be used as the source when generating the Text-to-Speech audio for a Step - instead of using the Demo Text or Practice Text.

This property is useful if you need to 'force' the pronunciation of certain words within the Bubble - for example, changing "SAP" (which the default Text-to-Speech engine will generate as "sap" - as in tree sap) to "essay pea" so that the individual letters are 'sounded out'.
