Scope

Purpose

This property is used to define how opaque the shadow shown for the content object should be - that is, the degree to which the objects 'behind' (or at a lower level) the shadow can be seen.

Use

This property is specified as a percentage: 100 indicates that the object is entirely opaque, so nothing behind it can be seen; a value of 0 indicates that the object is entirely transparent.

Note that if you also add a blur to the shadow, then some degree of the underlying object(s) will be visible at the edges of the shadow, in addition to any opacity defined.
