This property will not take effect unless the '''Page > [[Image (Page object property)|Image]]''' property (not the '''Page > Design > [[Background Image]]''' property) is active. Don't select an image - just activate the property. Odd, and seems unnecessary, but that's SAP Enable Now....

Scope

  • Book Page content object > Page object > Design category > Page Color property

Purpose

This property can be used to select the color of the Book Page itself (that is, the 'canvas' on which the Book Page objects are placed). This is set to white by default, but you can select any color you like via the Color Chooser dialog box for the property.

Do not confuse this property with the Background Color property, which defines the color of the area behind the Book Page in the Book Reader (which is not visible if Zoom for Desktop Playback (or Zoom for Mobile Playback, as appropriate) is set to Zoom to Fit).

Use

This property will not take effect unless the Page > Image property (not the Page > Design > Background Image property) is active. Don't select an image - just activate the property. Odd, and seems unnecessary, but that's SAP Enable Now....
